There are many ways for parents to participate in the band program.  Participation with the boosters is voluntary - but it is strongly encouraged.  In fact, there is no way the Magna Vista Band Program could function without the strong support of our parents.  We need volunteers to build and manage props and help move equipment as well as serve meals during marching season.  We need volunteers to take care of uniforms, chaperones for every football game and every road trip (to include both marching competitions and concert trips), volunteers to serve on a variety of support committees, and so much more.   In short, whatever your skills and interests are we have a place for you!   Be sure to complete the “Booster Membership Form” and if possible complete the HCPS Background check process.  All chaperones that go on trips with the school and Booster members that handle money must have the background check completed.  Watch throughout the year for emails requesting volunteer help.
